Marking of TEST papers
- Multiple-choice questions are marked automatically by computer systems and essay questions are marked manually by competent tutors who are approved lead tutor course tutors.
- The nominal pass mark is 70%, and any candidates attaining a mark of 85% or higher will receive a pass with distinction.
- Any candidate who does not pass may request a re-marking of the TEST. This procedure ensures that no stray marks, multiple responses or other conditions interfered with the computer scoring. Requests for hand marking must be made in writing within 3 months after receipt of the TEST result. An administration charge equivalent to 30% of the TEST fee will be charged for this service, payable in advance.
